Downshall Primary School

Downshall Primary's school week is 32.5 hours.

The school day starts at 9.00am and finishes at 3.30pm. School gates open at 8.50am. Please ensure that your child is supervised until the start of the school day.  

Nursery Times

Our Nursery times differ from the rest of the school. Please see timings below.

Nursery Full Day: 9:00am- 3:30pm
Nursery AM: 9:00am- 12:00pm
Nursery PM: 12:30pm- 3:30pm
 

Morning Playtime

Children in Year 1, 2 and 3 have a morning break from 10.25am to 10.40am

Children in Year 4, 5 and 6 have a morning break from 10.45am to 11.00am

Lunch

Reception, Year 1 and 2 have lunch from 11:40am - 12.40pm

Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 have lunch from 12:45pm - 1:45pm

PPA Year Group (This differs each term) have lunch from 12:10pm - 1:10pm

Afternoon break time
Younger children have an afternoon break time.

Collection
The school gates open at 3:30pm and close at 3:40pm for parents to collect their child. If normal arrangements have to be altered (for example, you are delayed or have arrangements for someone else to collect your child), please inform the school office or class teacher. This avoids any confusion or upset.
